Path too long: Usually windows is unable to perform operations on file names that are very long. Due to this incapability of windows, the user is stuck with a lot unwanted files. Antivirus programs will skip these file when scanning for viruses.To overcome this nuisance OSM studios have developed a java application and can be downloaded at:

Malwarebytes:  It is a very useful malicious software cleaning utility. If you have a corrupt file system, just this utility from :

  1. INSTALL IT
  2. UPDATE IT
  3. RUN A FULL SCAN
  4. AFTER THE SCAN IT WILL SHOW A LIST OF MALICIOUS PROGRAMS IN THE SYSTEM
  5. CLICK ON THE REMOVE SELECTED BUTTON FOR A VIRUS FREE COMPUTER

This utility scans and gives an option to clean all infections in a system and gives you a full .txt log report.

Microworld Virus Cleaning Utility: A very strong antivirus cleaning utility and one of my favourites.

  1. DOWNLOAD IT
  2. DOUBLE CLICK THE ICON
  3. UPDATE THE SOFTWARE
  4. CHOOSE SCANNING OPTIONS (USUALLY I CHOOSE SCAN SPYWARE AND ALL STANDARD OPTIONS)
  5. CHOOSE DRIVES TO SCAN (I GO FOR ALL DRIVES)
  6. UPDATE IT
  7. CLICK SCAN AND CLEAN

This utility scans and cleans all infections in a system and gives you a full report.

Please take notice that the above mentioned utilities may delete a data file or an application/file that may be important for the system to function. Mostly it would happen when a malicious software infects such a file. Truth Chariot advises utmost caution and professional help when required.

  1. I had the similar problem and faced it a lot of times. I often solve this type of problems using "Long Path Tool". It helped me in solving this error and all related errors.p
